I have been successfull in doing so, but for some reason I keep getting the Windows 10 Pro version and not the Home version. I want the Home version instead of the Pro version because I think my windows 7 product key will work with the Home version. I have already tryed using my product key for the Pro version, and it doesnt work. I, knew it wouldn't, but it was worth a try.
I cant use the media creation tool because the program Rufus Im using doesnt work with that. It will not give you the windows to go option. That is why I have to use the direct ISO download. When researching it says the Windows 10 ISO comes with both Home and Pro and you can choose which one to use when setting it up for the first time on your machine. I am not seeing this option anywhere. The reason im not downloading Windows 10 directly onto the steam machine is because it runs off steamOS Linux Based.
